Christmas 2009

Every Christmas morning the kids have to wait until 7:00 am before we can go down to see what Santa has brought. This year I think it was actually closer to 7:30, amazing!! They were all concerned about figuring out the order they got to go downstairs. It is youngest to oldest, but they were trying to find ways around that.

Kierra, Makayla, Janika

When Kierra opened her doll, she was so excited. Dad had to get it out right then. She loves baby dolls. It was a present from her sisters.

Janika got 2 more American Girl book series that she wanted.

Kierra loved opening presents!! She even went as far as stealing mine. When I'd try to open my present, she would keep taking it away and wanting to open it. Needless to say, she helped me open my presents. Of course she also wanted to keep my presents too. Silly girl. We got video of her, but its not easy to take a picture of that.

Makayla was excited to open her boots, because her friend, Brooklyn, has the same ones! All three girls got the same boots.

Janika FREAKED out when she opened her Harry Potter books from Santa. The video is so much better than this picture.

Makayla loves Fancy Nancy and was excited to get some more books.

Santa brought Janika & Makayla a Nintendo DS.

Everyone always gets a new outfit from Mom & Dad for Christmas. Here is a picture of all the kids in their new outfits.

After we open presents with our own little family, we make the rounds to see my family and exchange gifts. That is 3 different stops - My parents, my Grandma Hardman's, and my Grandma & Grandpa Evensen's. It makes for a very busy day. We used to also have Dan's parents to go to too, but now they come over to our house in the evening to see what the kids got, etc.

My mom loves giving gifts to her family (especially the grandkids)! Kierra got a fun quiet book.

All three girls got a new velour outfit.

Janika & Makayla got a new Wii game - Wii Sports Resort!
