LAGOON!!

My sister-in-law Cheri was able to get discount tickets to Lagoon for June 8th, so we decided to take the kids and go have a day of FUN! We started off on the kiddie rides.

Here is Makayla's first ride, Dinosaur Drop. Janika wouldn't go on it at this point, but later in the day she went on Ladybug Bop that's the same kind of ride.

On several rides Makayla would just fold her arms and enjoy the ride.

Kierra LOVED the Merry-Go-Round!!!!! She would squeal and get so excited!!!!

Janika went on Puff the Little Fire Dragon rollercoaster this year. A few years back we could not get her to go on it (even though Makayla went on it). She still won't go on the big rollercoasters, but she definitely went on a lot more rides this year.

I can't believe I got Janika on the Tidal Wave. She hung on for dear life, but she did go on it again, even though she wouldn't at first. This was Makayla's favorite ride!!! She went on it SEVERAL times throughout the day and by the 2nd time she was lifting her arms in the air.

Makayla wanted to go on a lot of rides she wasn't tall enough to go on, but she was TALL ENOUGH to go on the Bat. Her first time on she was in the very front. She was so excited. She LOVED it. She came off saying "Again, Again!" She is going to be our girl that loves rollercoasters and the BIG rides.

Janika LOVED Rattle Snake Rapids. She went on it SEVERAL times in a row. She was SOAKED!!! Storm clouds seemed to be all around us, so it was chilly, but luckily no rain. After we were done with Rattle Snake Rapids we went to the van and everyone changed into dry and warmer clothes to finish out the night.

Grandma & Kierra

Grandma Hardman joined us after work to help with the kids. She loves to take the kids on the train and the merry-go-round. Thanks for all your help Mom!!

Janika on Tilt-a-Whirl (later on Dad & Makayla went on it with her, but I wasn't with them).

Some other rides Janika & Makayla went on were the Sky Ride, Hydro Luge Makayla also got her dad to go on Rock-O-Plane (like the ferris wheel, but has cages that can rock and go upside down). Once they were on she wanted to rock being she saw others doing it, but decided she didn't like that. When they were up at the top she said to Dad "I think I should have picked a different ride". She was nervous but did okay as long as they didn't rock.

All-in-All it was a fun day as a family!! Kierra was even really good.
