We didn't swim much all summer until the last few weeks we had left. Then it seemed the girls were able to swim a lot. The were very hesitant at first, but with time and swimming lessons they became a lot more comfortable in the water and had a lot of FUN!!!!!
We went over to Anderson's on July 24th where they had a barbecue, swimming, pinata, train ride and fireworks. We had a lot of fun. I think it was the first time we really went swimming this year. The girls had fun, but were hesitant to do much or get their faces in the water. Kierra was not sure about it either. She'd cry, then she'd be okay then she'd cry. We did finally get Makayla to go down the water slide if Dan caught her at the bottom. Janika would not. I even tried to force her on the slide with some help from Saundra, but she just climbed back up. Silly Girl.
On the 27th Janika and Makayla started swimming lessons over at the Andersons pool. Pictures below are from the 28th (after swimming lessons) and 29th when they went swimming with their cousins. With a few swimming lessons (pictures on another post), you can see Janika and Makayla both went down the water slide without Dan to catch them. Janika was the first to go down this day, but before we left Makayla had joined her.

Kierra actually relaxed enough she was starting to fall asleep.

What a cool slide. Your girls have come soooo far in their swimming this year. I'm so excited for them.
