Makayla wanted rollerskates so we gave her some for her birthday. When we got home from her birthday party with the Varga's Dad took her outside and let her rollerskate. Dad couldn't find her knee and elbow pads. She didn't end up needing them, but some kind of padding for the bum might have been good. She did really well for her first time on skates.

Dad had a brilliant idea to use a jump rope and have Janika help pull her along. Makayla actually would fall backwards. Not so brilliant after all, but it was a good thought.
